GLAD TIDINGS MINISTRY TRAINING CENTER (GTMTC)

"Where anointing, education and experience produce spirit-filled leaders of excellence"

What is GTMTC?
GTMTC is open to all individuals desiring to study and be equipped to fulfill the Great Commission.  Students are from all ethnic backgrounds, ages and walks of life. The vision of the school is to build and disciple people who feel a call for the ministry and to create a school that focuses on the end product; people who are able to competently preach and teach the Word with God-given effectiveness, equipped with the tools actually used by successful ministers resulting in successful, dynamic, and complete Ministers prepared to enter their particular field of ministry.  To accomplish this, we designed the courses of study, training, and practical experience around a five-fold purpose; intimacy, spiritual awareness, character, competency to communicate the gospel, and theology.

Some of the curriculum will be in the form of non-accredited classes.  We feel that there is training necessary in producing a successful minister that has "real church world" applicability.  This value added training we will be offering is recognized as a certainty for usage in a Spirit-filled minister's life. Some examples are; leadership training and development, understanding the scriptures in regards to healing the sick, self awareness in Christ through Christ Life Solutions, personal finance and taxes, and church or ministry budgeting and finance, to name a few.

Approaching the ministerial students' development from a "complete end product" perspective, we designed the Entry Level training, with the focus on developing your intimacy with God and on the spiritual aspect of ministry.  Habits of prayer and fasting and devotional times would be developed and established early.  Along with this is strengthening your spiritual character and your self-awareness in Christ.

The Licensing Level of training will continue to develop spiritual character and then build upon that character by equipping you to competently teach and preach.  This will be reinforced by assigned pulpit experience at available opportunities. During this course level, the student will be introduced to further "real church world" training.

Class Times
Currently, all accredited classes are held one day per week on Saturdays, in the morning.  Class times vary depending on which class or classes you enroll in.   Generally, GTMTC operates from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.  Three Entry Level courses and three Licensing Level courses are offered each quarter.  Non-accredited courses will vary as to the day of the week offered, the time offered, and the length of the course.

Currently, we offer a two-year program, Entry Level courses and Licensing Level courses.  However, you have the flexibility to take the courses at your own pace to complete either level.  Upon completion of all accredited courses and non-accredited courses and training, participating in ministry opportunities offered, demonstration of the necessary qualifications and evidence of a Divine Calling, a student will be positioned for recommendation to pursue ministerial credentials.
