Mom to Mom Group
This group is designed to build relationships between mothers of young children. This fall we will be studying the “Fruit of the Spirit” as it pertains to mothers and their young children. Mom to Mom meets 2nd and 4th Thursday mornings from 10:00 – 12:00. This study will begin September 11th at 10:00 a.m. in room 180. We will meet every 2nd and 4th Thursdays. Child care will be provided. This group is lead by Megan Hunsberger, call 551-4036 for any questions.

26th, 10am - Play date at Pooley’s Pumpkin Patch, 144th & Bennington Rd., $3/person, kids 2 & under free.

9th, 10am - Mom’s group, this week’s study, “patience” & “kindness.”
16th, 7-9pm - Mom’s night out at Panera Bread, 7825 Dodge St.
23rd, 10am - Mom’s group, this week’s study, “goodness” & “faithfulness” with Patsy Rice as our guest speaker.
25th, 4-7:30 - Fall Party for Families with Young Children at the Hunsbergers’ house, Chili dinner, costume contests, pumpkin carving, games...more info to come!

6th, 10am - Play date at Megan Hunsberger’s house, 2920 N 58th St.
13th, 10am - Mom’s group, this week’s study, “gentleness” & “self control.”

"Here Comes The Bride" Study
This will be a study of who we are as the Bride of Christ. Bring your Bible and a notebook we will search the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. This will be lead by Chris Ford and Rose Moss. We will meet 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday mornings at 10:00 a.m. This study will begin September 23rd in room 180 and 25th in room 80. Child care will be provided.

Joyce Meyer Women's Conference
Women’s Ministry will be sponsoring a bus trip to the Joyce Meyer Women’s Conference in St. Louis, MO October 2 -4, 2008. We will be leaving early October 2nd traveling by Arrow Stage Lines bus and returning late Saturday October 4th. The cost for the trip is $200 per person. A deposit of $100 is needed by August 1st and the balance by September 1st. The cost includes transportation, hotel and conference admission. Meals are not included. We will have snacks, games, videos and prizes while on the trip. Space is limited, early registration is a must. Saturday Workshops
Bring a friend, bring your mom, bring your daughter and let’s have fun! Saturday Specials are a wonderful time to get to know other women as well as a new skill. The morning will begin at 9:30 A.M. and end around 11:30. There will be several workshops to choose from.
If you have a particular skill to share let us know. Some of the workshops ideas that we have planned are tamale making, gardening, pie baking, theme parties, trash to treasures, women’s health issues, hair, makeup, fashion and more!

Women’s Christmas Celebration
Host a single mother and her children for the Women’s Christmas Celebration on Friday, December 12th. Doors open at 5:30 dinner will begin at 6:00 in our West Fellowship Hall. This will be a wonderful opportunity to bless a single mom with another set of hands for an evening.
Please invite a single mom and her children and then sign them up as their host. Sign up’s will begin the weekend of November 29th and 30th.
We would also be glad to match hosts and guest as well. You will need to sign up as well.
The evening will consist of a dinner for you, your guest and her family and evening of entertainment. This will be a great night to remember!
We would like to send each family home with gift cards. If you would like to donate gift cards in $10 increments from Wal Mart or Target it would be greatly appreciated. .
